Hamas, PIJ deliver response on Gaza ceasefire proposal to mediators

Amarynth Comment: Hamas is profesional and direct – so far.

This is a summary of an Al Mayadeen article with the Hamas discussion. The full article is here: https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/hamas–pij-deliver-response-on-gaza-ceasefire-proposal-to-me

Senior Hamas leader Osama Hamdan to Al-Mayadeen:

Our response is our commitment to what we have previously agreed upon, which is the ceasefire and withdrawal from Gaza.

We have presented some observations on the proposal to the mediators.

I believe the American administration is trying to give “israel” a chance and is aligned with it, and the disagreement is only tactical.

The UN resolution has gaps, and it should set the zero hour for the ceasefire.

Hamas welcomed the UN resolution because it includes a ceasefire, relief for the Palestinians, and negotiations.

The talk about the “next day” is an illusion created by the “israelis,” and for us, the next day is distinctly Palestinian.

We cannot trust “israel”; it only yields when it feels it cannot achieve victory.

I believe that the resistance fronts are harmonizing towards a single goal, and as Sayyed Nasrallah said, the outcome will be victory.

The resistance leadership in Gaza is leading the confrontation along with the tribes and the Palestinian people.

Hamas leadership does not succumb to pressures and at the same time remains positive.

The estimates presented to the Americans were that the war would last 6 weeks, but it has been ongoing for 8 months.

The “israelis” tried to create an image of achievement in Nusseirat, but in reality, they were exposed, and three of their captives were killed (https://t.me/PalestineResist/43871).

Racism revealed its true face when we see that the “israelis” killed and injured a thousand Palestinians in Nusseirat (https://t.me/PalestineResist/43888).

We have information that elements from the American “Delta” force (https://t.me/PalestineResist/43695) participated in the Nusseirat operation.

The ongoing executions in the West Bank confirm one truth: what frightens the occupation is the resistance.

The resistance is continuing and as is usual, their press counts every little contact with their enemy and how it went and what they did and what they accomplished. It is clear that they want a ceasefire but the Palestinians will never go back to being the oppressed, because they know that they can win a war. Doctors Without Borders asks today: How can the killing of more than 800 people in a single week, including small children, plus the maiming of hundreds more, be considered a military operation adhering to international humanitarian law? Israel repeatedly bombed so-called safe zones, refugee camps, a school and multiple humanitarian warehouses, which were formally registered as ‘deconflicted’ by Israeli forces.
