Key points of Sergey Lavrovโ€™s speech during the BRICS foreign ministers’ opening meeting

โ–ช๏ธRussia, as well as the countries of the world majority, is in favor of an equal world order based on balance of power and equal interaction of states;

โ–ช๏ธBRICS is an association where the principles of equal cooperation are actually implemented;

โ–ช๏ธThe group is driven forward by the wind of change and its role in global processes will only increase; (https://t.me/SputnikInt/58819)

โ–ช๏ธThe transition to a new world order will take a whole historical epoch, and it will be thorny, as the US is trying to slow down the formation of multipolarity, using trade as blackmail;

โ–ช๏ธThe West does not shy away from forceful methods, the examples of which are known to all; (https://t.me/geopolitics_live/26048)

โ–ช๏ธRecent international events have dropped the masks of those who claimed the exclusive right to dictate their values to everyone;

โ–ช๏ธBRICS members are working to improve the international financial system, in particular, to create a platform (https://t.me/geopolitics_live/25949) for international trade.

Kazan to host BRICS education ministers meeting on the sidelines of the International โ€œShaping the Futureโ€ Forum on 11 June.

Note Amarynth:ย  Now this is very interesting as it seemingly wants a closer educational focus.ย  In addition, there are new educational paths and fields.ย  We have to think new so this would be good. ย  It leaves the impression that any BRICS kid is welcome at any BRICS country’s university for education.ย  I am glad to see that the technical and vocational education has a place.

Meeting participants will discuss past cooperation in education within BRICS and new opportunities:

๐Ÿ”น BRICS Network University development;
๐Ÿ”น mutual recognition of qualifications;
๐Ÿ”น a global system for ranking and evaluating universities;
๐Ÿ”น cooperation in digital education;
๐Ÿ”น support for talented youth;
๐Ÿ”น the role of universities in the fight against climate change;
๐Ÿ”น the BRICS Technical and Vocational Education and Training Cooperation Alliance.
