Israel has proposed a “comprehensive new proposal” (aka we’ve won!)

(May I start with asking a question.  Why is Biden the mouthpiece for this?  Aaah, I know, there is an election coming up)

US President says Israel has proposed a “comprehensive new proposal” and urges Hamas and Israel to take it.

The US president emphasized that the new proposal presented by Israel includes “a cessation of hostilities permanently,” addressing one of the sticking points in previous talks. Here’s how he laid out a three-phase plan:

⭕️A first phase lasts six weeks includes a “full and complete ceasefire”, withdrawal of Israeli forces from all populated areas of Gaza; release of a number of captives including women, the elderly and the wounded in exchange for release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. American hostages to be freed at this stage.

⭕️Remains of dead captives will return to their families. Palestinian civilians will return to their homes in neighbourhoods across Gaza, including in the north. Humanitarian assistance will surge with 600 trucks entering Gaza every day. Hundreds of thousands of tents will be distributed by the international community. All that and more will begin immediately.

⭕️A second phase includes an exchange of all remaining living hostages, including male soldiers, along with a full withdrawal of Israeli soldiers from Gaza.

⭕️ The third phase will include commencement of “a major reconstruction plan for Gaza” and a final return of any remains of captives.

It is worth noting that Hamas has rejected any continuation of negotiations with Israel or changes to the latest deal they agreed to weeks ago, prior to Israel’s invasion of Rafah. Hamas says that Israel has deceived the negotiations and delayed the deal to buy time and proceed with the invasion of Rafah.

Israel to allow Gaza food sales, as Rafah fighting strangles aid to embattled enclave

As reports of famine emerge from regions of the Gaza Strip, the IDF has lifted a ban on the sale of food to the enclave and the occupied West Bank as intense fighting strangles aid, Reuters writes citing local sources.

Israeli authorities allowed Gaza traders to resume purchasing from suppliers of food like fruit, veggies, and dairy, this month just days after the IDF launched an assault on the southern city of Rafah.

A UN report from earlier this month claimed that there was already a “full-blown famine” in northern Gaza, with a further 210K people suffering “catastrophic levels of hunger.”

If these two reports are accurate, then this war is over and we, the Palestinians and the Gazans have won. 

Don’t be taken aback because Israel supposedly ‘gives concessions’ for example with the food above.  They are just trying to look magnanimous.   In the Cradle a new report states: To cover for war crimes, Israel claims it ‘lost control’ over soldiers.  The news would be that the law suits do not go away.  I hope I am right!  But … take it with salt!

Folks, if this is accurate, we, the Palestinians, the Houthis, the Gazans have won.

Biden is now ‘demanding that Hamas comes to a negotiating table’.

The US President claims that Hamas is the one obstructing a ceasefire, demanding that people around the world should now “demand that Hamas comes to the table.” In fact, Hamas had agreed to a ceasefire deal weeks ago before Israel invaded Rafah City.

I wonder who is going to negotiate.  Folks, my belly, my experience, tells me something is happening here!

Filtering through the media now:  “US President Joe Biden claims that Israel is preparing a permanent ceasefire offer to withdraw its troops from Gaza in exchange for full release of hostages.”

Oh boy .. this is a decisive moment!  Biden repeated several times.

Yeah I agree, a decisive moment when you want the Palestinians to believe you yet again – same old story.  They are not going to.  But this is a very nice piece to analyze and figure out how many lies.

Netanyahu’s office:

“The Israeli government wishes to return our prisoners as soon as possible and is working hard to achieve this goal.

Therefore, the prime minister allowed the negotiating team to come up with a plan to achieve this goal, while stressing that the war will end until all goals are achieved, including the return of all our prisoners and the destruction of Hamas and their military capabilities.

Israel’s proposed outline, including conditional transitions from stage to stage, allows Israel to maintain these principles.”

They are not suing for peace, they are suing to please please give them a little space NOT TO LOOSE!  They’ve decided on the Russians and Ukraine to keep a neverending war going.  And, they will eat away at the east.

The movement reaffirms its readiness to engage positively and constructively with any proposal based on a permanent ceasefire, complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, reconstruction, the return of displaced persons to all their homes, and a serious prisoner exchange deal, provided the occupation declares its explicit commitment to this.

We have not yet received details of the proposal announced by the American president.
Netanyahu must respond positively to the proposal put forward by Biden.

If the Biden administration is not ready to pressure Netanyahu’s government, the deal will not see the light of day.

We are interested in testing the positivity generated by this new proposal and examining its chances of success.

No agreement can be reached before the demand for the withdrawal of the occupation army and a ceasefire is met.

I see a cry go up, complaints, and whataboutism to the max in the social sphere. This is how something starts. The rest will be dealt with in negotiations, given that Hamas brings the right team together. I propose it should be a joint Chinese/Arab States negotiating team. I propose that the tone of the negotiations should not be as Biden states, the rebuilding of Gaza (by the US) but rather the payment of reparations by the Israeli and the US entities – there are a few more, like the Brits.

Hamas in my view did just the right thing. It is pragmatic. Now how about some explicit commitment? “We acknowledge receipt and we like your proposal. Now give us some explicit commitment so that we can be sure you are serious!” (Subtext, because we’ve heard this all before and we are still dying at your hands and we all know you tell fibs).

I hope for Israel, Self-destruction

“Israel has adamantly rejected its own offer to itself and is now cutting off negotiations and diplomatic relations with itself in order to send itself a strong message: Israel will not surrender to Israel’s terms!”

So Biden made up this peace deal, or Biden was rolled or, he is rolling everyone and making statements that will go no further, but in the meantime, the killing continues.

Netanyahu: Gaza ceasefire is out of the question unless Hamas is destroyed Netanyahu has something in common w/ Zelensky. Both of them claim peace talks are impossible unless the other side capitulates first! They don’t do negotiations. They are extremists.
