What an excellent interview with the extremely clear-thinking and fair-minded Chas Freeman – (former US Assistant Secretary of Defense 1993/94 during the Clinton administration). Have not watched the video yet, but NEO has an article by Brian Berletic relevant to the plan going awry.

Apparently the plan was formulated in 2009. Did not take into account subsequent missile development.
