It is not that people are worried that a claim of genocide will not be successful at the International Court of Justice. It is that everybody is quite sure it will succeed.
Craig Murray via Consortium News
Craig analyzes the legal case for genocide in his article and it exists in clarity, as many international legal analysts have determined.
“The problem is that once the ICJ has determined that this is a genocide, it follows that not only are Benjamin Netanyahu and hundreds of senior Israeli officials and military personally liable, but it is plain that “Genocide Joe” Biden, Rishi Sunak and members of their administrations are also criminally liable for complicity, having provided military support for the genocide.
The International Criminal Court cannot ignore a judgment of genocide from the International Court of Justice and will have no choice but to issue arrest warrants.
Genocide is the worst of crimes. Just how appalling this one is has been shown to the world like never before, through the power of social media.”
This article is so worthwhile reading. Craig says: It may sound astonishing, but to the world’s diplomats the enormity of a genocide appears less troubling than the enormity of doing something about it.
Imagine that! Everyone knows, but nobody has the courage of their conviction to speak out and take this to the necessary courts.

It’s a bit of a paradox, but the brilliance of his analysis here, as in his great analysis of the Skripal incident, lies in his plodding, dogged, step by step listing of simple, relevant facts and concepts.
Which makes his position on the SMO so puzzling.
Steve from Oz, good to connect with you again, I missed one of your previous replies, my apologies. I know nothing of Murray’s stance on the SMO but at this stage the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Seven billion, broadly speaking,in the global South against the golden billion,… Read more »
“the enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
Exactly.
And as I keep reminding myself, we can’t expect our allies to think exactly as we do, as that implies the nonsense that we are perfect.
dear steve from oz, i agree his position on the smo was/is perplexing. in the fast moving early days of the smo @ his site it was suggested his wife, the mother of their young child, had some cultural differences with russia. in the days since rushing to grasp events… Read more »
