Endgames?
We are in a fairly intense discussion with myself having selected the best of the futurist options on Gaza and playing them out against one another. This is not to say who is right or who is wrong, but it is to attempt to meld ideas, see what makes sense, and of course, get the latest information.
Alastair Crooke’s interview must form part of this. He describes that actions (and according to him we will see more of it) of the resistance as a horizontal incremental ‘acceleration’ from all directions with tension increasing on the Lebanese border, Iraq and Syria. He explains that the resistance are made up of different groups and they don’t want to necessarily involve nation-states.
The US does not have influence over Israel at this moment (I don’t know if I fully believe this). There is a clip (first clip) played on this interview where one cannot believe your ears on ‘how very moderate’ the US sounds all of a sudden. (They are painting lipstick on a pig because they would vote for a cease fire if they were legitimate.)
Out of a class reflex, I would never trust a judge. His office is incompatible with anything positive for the working class. I can’t get over this prejudice, it generates a very strong distrust in me.
He only asks the questions. You don’t have to pay attention to anything he actually says .. he just asks questions.

@eernesto, the Judge is no longer a sitting judge. He was a state superior court judge once and he has been a law professor (all according to Wiki), but he’s been a media figure for a few years now. He is allowed within the US culture to keep his former… Read more »
