1. Malta Resolution for Humanitarian Pauses is accepted at the UNSC
Resolution calling for urgent & extended humanitarian pauses & corridors throughout the #Gaza strip for a sufficient number of days to enable aid delivery to civilians (esp children), rescue/recovery efforts & medical evacs. Reso also calls for release of hostages (esp children) & for all parties to refrain from depriving Gazan civilians of basic services and humanitarian assistance indispensable to their survival.
2. Russia says it is a weak text that will not be implemented on the ground and they abstained the 2nd round just to get something through.
In #UNSC,
Amb Nebenzia expresses serious concerns that provisions of the resolution calling for humanitarian pauses in #Gaza will not be implemented on the ground. “Who will give approval for humanitarian pauses? Who will monitor and verify them and what will be the consequences of them not being complied with?” he asks. Notes that while council members are giving eloquent speeches, #Israel is storming Al-Shifa hospital again & shelling
schools. Blames
for the council not calling for a ceasefire & insists #UNSC will need to take further steps regarding monitoring. “We will not allow this issue to be swept under the carpet,” he says.
3. Israel refuses and rejects and says they will continue just as they please.
In #UNSC,
Amb Mansour deviates from his prepared speech to inform council members that #Israel‘s Foreign Ministry has already rejected the resolution just adopted and that it won’t implement it & will continue with its course of action. “What are you going to do?” he asks. “Israel is effectively telling you it can kill any and every Palestinian without ever being responsible for their death as they are either terrorists, terrorist sympathizers or human shields. Anyone allowing such a logic to prevail is contributing to the killing,” he says.
4. Malta figures out they(we) are being gaslighted by Israel
At #UNSC stakeout,
Amb
is asked by
about #Israel already rejecting resolution calling for humanitarian pauses in #Gaza and says: “The Security Council is the highest body in multinational diplomacy & the resolutions of the council are immediately binding on all members.

This is Reuters so – a pinch of salt is necessary.
Israel and Hamas are discussing the release of 50 hostages held by the movement in exchange for a three-day ceasefire, increased humanitarian aid, and the liberation of Palestinians from prisons.
Reuters reports that Hamas has broadly approved the draft document, while Israel is currently considering the details.

Tel Aviv is now trying a different tack in terms of Ethnic Cleansing. They’re calling it ‘voluntary migration’. I see nothing voluntary about it. This is now their humanitarian solution. We’ve seen many of these methods of clearing land from the original inhabitants. Just ensure that you know this has nothing to do with how very bad Hamas is. They just want to steal the land. We’ve had so many brilliant scholars over the past few days letting us know what their view is on this war and it is now being called the Israel/Hamas war. I’ve seen over the past day the explosion of habarra of all kinds .. Hamas – it becomes non-sensical as the pro-Israel crowd shouts Hamas, Hamas as they shouted Putin, Putin but Hamas is the name that is being seeded now in the collective consciousness as the bad guy.
But, now we see it is just a land grab .. voluntary migration hah! Russian intelligence authorities say the United States is pressing the Israeli regime behind closed doors to “speed up the operations” in Gaza in order to avoid the impacts of a prolongation of the conflict on President Joe Biden’s 2024 re-election bid.
Aah yes, while the the-mind-make-over artists were busy with new material to try and make Hamas the dirty rat and Israel the wonderful humanitarian bomber of babies, another make-over has happened. The Ukraine SMO is now a stalemate – no, nobody lost, it is simply a stalemate. This is how the west wants to walk away from this one … stalemate.

Immediate “strategies”:
Hegemon Armada in West Asia (against Iran) +
Possible Milei election cum his promise to break Brazil-Argentina relations.
All about BRICS 11 getting close to OPEC+.
The Empire (of Chaos) Strikes (Global South) Back.
Amarynth Note: Of course it is … it is the second war (of a sizable size) against global humanity and its aspirations.

We are now regularly getting press releases from Hammas, from Al-Qassam Brigades, from Islamic Resistance.
A few snippets:
Israeli media: The Israeli army remains in place in Gaza, attacks less frequently, and waits for the political level that exposes the soldiers to danger.
Israeli media: It became clear yesterday that Hezbollah is the one who decides who will live and who will die on the northern border.
Israeli media: Israeli army soldiers feel like ducks in the hunting field on the northern border.
Israeli media: While Netanyahu and Gallant threaten and make statements, Nasrallah dictates the pace of battle he wants on the border.
Israeli media: Hezbollah is in the process of learning and improving in the past two days, and is credited with more successes in striking targets in Israel, including yesterday’s deadly attack, and success in striking military targets.

We will probably find it difficult to figure out truth from fiction from now on, especially with the billionaire media drive/propaganda drive. Like the story of the 300 liters of fuel spread by the Israeli forces. (The first tipoff of course is the quantity of fuel which is too little to drive a hospital).
Hamas Press Statement:
The occupation uses the suffering of children and injured people in hospitals as false propaganda to beautify its ugly face and cover up its crimes against humanity.
As part of the series of lies that the occupation spreads on a daily basis, the spokesman for its Nazi army said that they had offered to supply the hospital with a quantity of fuel (https://t.me/DDGeopolitics/91657?single) to the Shifa Hospital administration, but the Hamas movement refused, and in this context we confirm the following:
First: The Hamas movement is not a party to the management of Al-Shifa Hospital, nor is it present within its decision-making structure, and it is completely subject to the authority of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, which manages its administrative and technical affairs.
Second: What the Shifa Hospital administration revealed was that the occupation’s offer was to supply the hospital with only 300 liters of fuel. It represents a disdain for the pain and suffering of patients, premature babies, and medical staff, who are trapped inside it, without water, food, or electricity. This quantity is not enough to operate the generators for more than half an hour. Rather, the occupation sought, through this display, to launch a cheap propaganda campaign to beautify its ugly face and attempt Concealing his crimes against humanity, bombing hospitals, killing medical staff, and endangering the lives of patients by cutting off fuel, water, and medicines.
Third: We renew our call to the United Nations and the international community; Immediate intervention to bring fuel into the Gaza Strip, to operate hospitals, rescue the sick, children and wounded inside, and stop these flagrant violations of international laws practiced by the fascist occupation entity.

At least the world’s cowards voted against the occupation:
The vote on the United Nations resolution on ending the illegal Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories:
– 168 countries voted in favor of ending the occupation (Included all Arab and most African countries)
– 9 countries abstained from voting (including 5 African countries)
– 7 countries opposed the decision: (The Zionist entity, United State, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Canada, Hungary)
Politically speaking, 91% of the world are frankly against the occupation
Perhaps in another 30 years, our UN staff will be voting ‘against the occupation’ just like they are voting for lifting the Cuban blockade and nothing changes.

AlShifa Hospital is turning into a graveyard. Israeli army shot down the remaining small generator causing a complete power outage. 1 baby in the incubator + 1 gravely injured man have died. A doctor who tried to reach the incubators was shot. Babies in incubators cannot regulate their temperature. Doctors are using blankets. Dozens of bodies are at the entrance of the hospital and the ER.
Doctors are pleading to be allowed to bury them in the hospital’s yard. The ICU unit is full of patients – It is without power. Oxygen & dialysis units are not functioning.
No food or water is available. Although many displaced families fled the hospital yesterday, doctors estimate there are around 3,000 patients, injured, doctors, nurses, maintenance staff, etc.) in different buildings + at least 15,000 displaced.
Al Shifa Hospital is the largest health service provider in Gaza. It employed 25% of all health workers in the Strip. The compound is large: 45,000 square meters. It includes a maternity ward and NICU, Internal Medicine, surgery, ER, ICU, radiology, blood bank & others.
Doctors, patients & the displaced are isolated – trapped in whatever building they are in. Patients are given oxygen manually & only life-saving intervention is possible. Surgery is NOT possible. The surgery building was struck. No one knows if there are casualties.
Some of the displaced who tried to flee Al Shifa in a panic were shot at. Eyewitnesses say a small drone armed with a machine gun shoots at anyone who moves. Anyone who falls injured outside the buildings cannot be rescued.
Doctors in the far smaller & ill-equipped hospitals in central & southern Gaza are overwhelmed with the influx of the wounded who fled Al Shifa. These hospitals usually send the gravely ill or injured to Al Shifa. They do not have the capacity to deal with many of these injuries.

The resistance in Gaza and Palestine is picking up, bit by bit. And the wider Resistance Axis is increasing their action incrementally. I’ve seen Hammas calling for escalation. This meeting tomorrow will be telling! We are also waiting for another Nasrallah speech, warrior diplomat will be diplomat and not so much warrior, says Pepe.
Iranian president to attend emergency OIC summit in Saudi Arabia on Gaza genocide
Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi will travel to Saudi Arabia to take part in an extraordinary summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) focusing on ways to stop Israel’s savage war machine against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Raeisi is set to leave Tehran for Riyadh on Saturday.
Participants at the OIC summit will also discuss ways to dispatch humanitarian aid to the oppressed people of Gaza.
Since the beginning of the regime’s bombardment of the defenseless people of Gaza on October 7, President Raeisi has held phone talks and meetings with heads of Muslim countries, calling for an OIC emergency session to pressure Israel to stop the carnage.
Israel ignited the war machine on that October day after Palestinian resistance groups led by Hamas and Islamic Jihad launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm into the occupied territories in response to the regime’s intensified crimes against Palestinians.
According to the Gaza-based Health Ministry, Israel has killed more than 11,000 Palestinians, including over 4,500 children, ever since. Over 26,000 others have also been injured.
The Tel Aviv regime has also blocked access to water, food, and electricity in Gaza, plunging the territory into a humanitarian crisis.
On Monday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the United States is directly involved in masterminding the Israeli onslaught on Gaza.
“Since the very first days of the Zionist regime’s attacks, all the evidence and indications show the direct involvement of the Americans in running the war,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.

RT Update
10 November 2023
13:57 GMT
The death toll from Israeli attacks on Gaza has exceeded 11,000 people, the health ministry in the Palestinian enclave has said. According to its latest data, 11,078 Palestinians have been killed and 27,490 others wounded during more than a month of bombardment by the IDF.

- 13:36 GMT
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has reiterated that the PA is ready to assume control of Gaza after the conflict between Israel and Hamas ends. “Gaza is an integral part of the State of Palestine, and we will assume our full responsibilities within the framework of a comprehensive political solution, encompassing both the West Bank, including East Jerusalem and Gaza,” Abbas said, during a speech marking the anniversary of former Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.
The military solution to the crisis being pursued by Israel “will not bring security and peace to anyone,” he insisted, adding that Palestinians “will not accept the reoccupation of Gaza or the annexation of any parts of it under any pretext.”
“Security and peace in our region will only be achieved by ending the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land, including East Jerusalem, based on the 1967 borders,” the president stressed. Abbas also called for an international peace conference, which would provide guarantees and a timetable for this process.
- 11:56 GMT
The IDF’s violent clampdown on Gaza isn’t going to bring stability to both the Israelis and Palestinians, Philippe Lazzarini, the head of the UN agency for the Palestinian refugees (UNRWA), has said in an opinion piece. “Razing entire neighborhoods to the ground is not an answer for the egregious crimes committed by Hamas. To the contrary, it is creating a new generation of aggrieved Palestinians, who are likely to continue the cycle of violence,” he stressed.
Israel’s “collective punishment” of the Palestinians is being extended into the occupied West Bank, which “risks widening the war and setting the whole of the Middle East ablaze,” the UN official warned. “The carnage simply must stop,” Lazzarini said.

11:05 GMT
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has reacted to Israel’s decision to allow daily four-hour humanitarian pauses in Gaza, saying that “some progress has been made.” Blinken stressed that it was “very clear that much more needs to be done in terms of protecting civilians and getting humanitarian assistance to them.” The US top diplomat was speaking to reporters in India’s capital New Delhi, the last stop on his marathon tour which included the Middle East, Türkiye and South Korea, as well as participation in the G7 foreign ministers’ meeting in Japan.

10:24 GMT
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be the one ultimately paying the price for Israeli “massacres” in Gaza, Anadolu news agency has reported. “Right now, between 60% and 70% of the Israeli people are against Netanyahu” and it’s only going to get worse for the PM, Erdogan told journalists aboard his presidential plane.
The Turkish leader also claimed that Hamas has no interest in holding the civilian hostages it captured during its incursion into Israel on October 7. The group is willing to set them free but, for this to happen, “the Palestinians in Israeli hands should be released,” he explained.
Erdogan also spoke about the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) that is taking place in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Sunday, insisting that the decisions made at the event “would become a big step toward stopping Israel’s oppression” of Palestinians.

09:34 GMT
More than 50% of housing units across Gaza have been damaged in the Israeli bombardment since October 7, the authorities in the besieged Palestinian enclave have said. Some 40,000 housing units in Gaza have been completely destroyed by airstrikes, they said. According to estimates by the Gaza authorities, the IDF has dropped 32,000 tons of explosives on the enclave in just over a month, causing material damage of around $4 billion.
-
09:03 GMT
The UN special rapporteur on the Palestinian territories Francesca Albanese has described Israel’s decision to allow daily four-hour-long humanitarian pauses amid its attacks on Gaza so that civilians could flee to the south of the enclave as “very cynical and cruel.”
“There has been continuous bombings, 6,000 bombs every week on the Gaza Strip, on this tiny piece of land where people are trapped and the destruction is massive. There won’t be any way back after what Israel is doing to the Gaza Strip,” Albanese told journalists in Adelaide, Australia. “So four hours cease-fire, yes, to let people breathe and to remember what is the sound of life without bombing before starting bombing them again. It’s very cynical and cruel,” she said.

The IDF has claimed that its ground troops have eliminated several members of Hamas’ elite Nukhba forces, who took part in the group’s attack on Israel on October 7. Israeli soldiers conducted raids in northern Gaza based on information provided by Shin Bet security agency, the IDF said. Among those killed were Nukhba company commander Ahmed Musa and platoon commander Amr Alhandi, according to the Israeli military.
07:41 GMT
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has told his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani that “the expansion of the scope of the war [between Israel and Hamas] has become inevitable,” Press TV has reported. It’s going to happen because of “the expansion of the intensity of the war against Gaza’s civilian residents” by the Israeli forces, Amir-Abdollahian explained during a phone call on Thursday.
According to Gaza’s health ministry, the death toll from IDF strikes on the enclave since October 7 has reached 10,812 people. Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, the Houthis in Yemen, as well as some militias in Syria and Iraq have threatened Israel with a regional conflict if it does not stop its attacks on Gaza.
