From Nat South at The Lookout – Z, on Drones
Since Nat developed this infographic, there was another incident. The Russian MoD reports:
Following Ukraine’s October 2022 terrorist attack by unmanned boats against the Black Sea Fleet ships and civilian vessels involved in securing the ‘grain corridor’, the Russian Federation suspended implementation of the agreement on the export of agricultural products from Ukrainian ports.
◽️ Only thanks to Turkey’s guarantees and Ukraine’s written commitments not to use the humanitarian corridor and Ukrainian ports for hostilities against the Russian Federation, the agreement was renewed.
◽️ On March 23 and April 24 of this year, in violation of these guarantees, Ukraine carried out repeated attacks on the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol and civil infrastructure in Crimea using unmanned boats.
◽️ An analysis of the route of the Ukrainian unmanned boats showed that all of them were launched from the waters of the port of Odessa designated for the implementation of the Black Sea Initiative. Their deployment was carried out in the area of the humanitarian corridor also involved in the export of agricultural products from Ukrainian ports.
◽️ Terrorist actions by Kiev regime threaten another extension of the Grain Initiative after 18 May this year.
